KU RUK SHETRA – THE ULTIMATE FIGHT NIGHT, KOLKATA KU RUK SHETRA – The Ultimate Fight Night, Kolkata was conceived as a large-scale open-air entertainment spectacle combining the intensity of professional combat sports with the energy of a live rap concert. Organised by Stageine Entertainment Private Limited, the event was presented as one of the first major open-air fight-night experiences staged on the outskirts of Kolkata, bringing together fighters, music artists, entertainment personalities, public figures and a large audience under one roof — or, more accurately, under the open Kolkata sky. The format featured 12 high-energy bouts involving 6 fighters, creating a continuous fight-night experience designed to keep the audience engaged throughout the evening. The final three headline fights were positioned as the most valuable and anticipated matchups of the night, adding a major climax to the sporting programme.  FIVE HOURS OF NONSTOP ENTERTAINMENT The event developed into a five-hour nonstop blend of combat and entertainment. Rather than functioning purely as a fight card, KU RUK SHETRA was structured as a complete entertainment experience. Between bouts, the atmosphere was driven by live music, crowd interaction, performances and a dedicated rap concert featuring rapper Saemy- THE HIT MAKER . The combination of fight-night adrenaline and live hip-hop created a distinctly youth-focused Kolkata entertainment experience. With a reported audience of 3,000+ people, the open-air venue transformed into a high-energy arena as spectators gathered to watch the fighters and enjoy the concert performances.  VIP & PUBLIC FIGURES The event also attracted attention through the presence of public and political figures. Becharam Manna, Minister in the Government of West Bengal, was among the prominent figures associated with the event. The gathering also featured the presence of MLAs and other local public figures, adding a strong community and public-profile dimension to the evening. Their presence contributed to the event's visibility beyond the sporting community.  SAIF'S CONNECTION TO THE EVENT A further element surrounding the event was the background of Saif, whose family connections included a politically connected maternal grandfather ("Nana"). This background gave Saif an established connection with people and networks within the political and public sphere.
